how we help with Opioid Substitution

Our pharmacy works closely with the District Health Board (DHB) Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) programme to support people in their recovery journey.

As part of this programme, our trained pharmacists can dispense and supervise doses of methadone or Suboxone — either daily in the pharmacy or as approved takeaway doses, depending on your individual treatment plan and what has been agreed with your OST provider.

We understand that opioid substitution therapy is a vital part of managing dependence and maintaining stability. Our goal is to make the process safe, respectful, and discreet, ensuring your privacy and dignity are always protected.
